Storia
Vigna Petrussa is a boutique winery that has been owned and run exclusively by women for three generations.
1995
Hilde Petrussa took over as head winemaker from her mother. She began reshaping the vineyards around native grape varieties trained using the Guyot system.
Terroir
The winery is based in Albana, in the municipality of Prepotto, in Colli Orientali del Friuli, close to Italy's border with Slovenia. The vineyards lie among gentle hills around the Judrio River valley, which form a natural amphitheater.
