Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow in Friuli Grave on dry alluvial soils composed of gravel and sand. These soils were carried down from the mountains by streams and deposited at their foot.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested during the final ten days of August, then gently crushed and pressed at the winery. The must ferments at a controlled temperature of 17–18 °C. Sediment is allowed to settle naturally under gravity before the wine is decanted, enabling it to be bottled without filtration.
Ageing
The wine matures for six months on its fine lees at approximately 12 °C and is bottled in the spring following the harvest.
Tasting profile
Fresh and elegant, with a soft, complex structure.
