Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from biodynamic vineyards in the Soave Classico area. The soils are volcanic mixed with clay, which give the grapes distinctive structure, concentrated aromas and a characteristic mineral streak.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in several passes. They are pressed and separated from the skins to preserve freshness and a clean fruit character. Fermentation is slow, at 16–18 °C, in glass-lined cement tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests on the fine lees until the following spring, then spends a month in bottle. This preserves its natural balance, gentle acidity and clear expression of terroir.
Tasting profile
Fresh and fruity, with mineral elegance, gentle acidity and natural balance. It is the freshest and youngest wine in the Pieropan range.
Vintage notes
2024: a challenging vintage with a cold winter, a dry spring and a hot summer, which tested the vines. The winemakers' experience and careful attention kept the grapes balanced and expressive.
