Storia
In 1993 Sabino Loffredo took over the family winery and renamed it Pietracupa. His aim in founding it was to show that his native Avellino could produce wines able to stand alongside the long-established names of Campania.

Terroir
The estate lies in Campania, near Avellino, and covers 3 hectares. Its soils are rich in clay and sand, interspersed with volcanic rock.
Filosofia
Sabino Loffredo founded Pietracupa with the aim of showing that Avellino had the potential to produce wines that could hold their own alongside Campania's long-established names. Pietracupa presents itself as showing how a small winery can produce truly impressive wines.
