Grapes
The descriptive text presents 24K as a union of Nebbiolo’s enveloping character and Cabernet Sauvignon’s pronounced tannic structure, without stating percentages. A separate specification table identifies the wine as 100% Nebbiolo.
Vinification
24K is produced only in exceptional historic vintages. The grapes are picked and selected by hand, then dried for approximately three months before crushing, concentrating their sugars and aromas. Fermentation begins in temperature-controlled steel tanks. After two days, the must is moved into special barriques constructed from four different types of wood, where alcoholic fermentation and acid reduction continue. The specification table separately gives five days of cold maceration followed by 15 days on the skins.
Ageing
The narrative describes 24–30 months in the four-wood barriques, followed by transfer to small European-chestnut barrels before release. The specification table instead specifies 24 months in new French-oak barriques.
Tasting profile
Nebbiolo contributes enveloping notes, while Cabernet Sauvignon is described as vigorous and notably tannic. The wine emphasizes power and extract.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 20–22 °C.
Label / history
The label is fashioned from pure 24-carat gold of 999 fineness. Each label undergoes a complex production process and is applied to the bottle by hand. Every bottle is supplied with a certificate of authenticity and presented as an individual piece.
