Vineyard and terroir
The vineyard covers 0.40.00 ha and lies at an average altitude of 400 m above sea level. Its soils consist of galestro and alberese, described in English as marly and limestone soils. Planting density is 5,000 vines per hectare. The vines are trained to spurred cordon at a height of 80 cm.
Grapes
100% Sangiovese grosso.
Vinification
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation is completed in oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine ages for four years in French oak barrels.
