Rosamati comes from a 2.5-hectare Syrah parcel at the foot of Magliano in Toscana. It was created to explore Syrah’s expressive potential in the Maremma.
Grapes
100% Syrah.
Vinification
The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed. Vinification and subsequent maturation take place in stainless steel.
Tasting profile
Rosamati combines aromatic finesse and intensity with an elegant, distinctive character. A spicy accent is identified as a recurring element of its personality.
Label / history
Elisabetta created Rosamati in 2007. The repeated name in multiple shades of pink evokes Syrah’s multifaceted and unpredictable personality and pays tribute to the women of the Maremma. The wine is dedicated in particular to Rosa Mati, Fredi’s strong and charismatic mother. A gold detail on the label alludes to the wine’s spicy note.
