Vineyard and terroir
The wine is produced from the 18 ha Casa Lucii vineyards in San Gimignano and is made at the Casa Lucii winery. It originated through Cuore Nobile, a network in which Salcheto has collaborated for more than a decade with growers committed to quality and certified business sustainability.
Grapes
100% Vernaccia.
Ageing
The wine matures for four months in cement tanks, followed by three months of refinement in bottle.
Technical data
The 2024 wine has 13% alcohol, pH 3.44, total acidity of 4.61 g/L and residual sugar of 1.30 g/L. Production is 26,000 bottles. It is released exclusively in a 750 ml Salcheto Light Bordeaux bottle weighing 370 g and fitted with a bioplastic closure.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 14–16 °C. The expected drinking window is two to three years.
