Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the hilly municipality of Feletto, on slopes between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene in eastern Veneto, at 250–300 metres above sea level. The partly alluvial soils contain glacial and iron-rich deposits and little organic matter.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at the end of September and gently pressed in a pneumatic press. The juice settles at a low temperature before temperature-controlled fermentation with selected yeast cultures. Secondary fermentation follows the Charmat method in autoclaves for 50–60 days at 14–16 °C.
