Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo grows in the commune of La Morra, in vineyards at 500 metres above sea level. The soils are limestone and clay, and the microclimate is cool.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented spontaneously in stainless steel tanks, to express the character of the terroir. Maceration lasts 20 days, to extract as much colour and aroma as possible.
Ageing
The wine ages for 18 months in large oak casks, which give it greater complexity and depth.
Tasting profile
Elegant, with a fresh, structured palate and an elegant, pleasing finish. The cool microclimate and the soils shape this character.
