Vineyard and terroir
The Glera comes from selected vineyards in Mortegliano, Udine, in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Certified-organic vines grow on alluvial soils rich in skeleton with north–south exposure. They are trained to free spurred cordon at no more than 4,000 vines per hectare, with production capped at 3.5 kg per vine.

Vinification
The grapes are harvested mechanically at night and softly pressed. Cold primary fermentation is followed by secondary fermentation in small stainless-steel tanks for at least 90 days according to the Charmat method.

Alcohol: 11.5% vol. Total acidity: 5.7 g/L. Residual sugar: 12 g/L. Pressure: 4.5 atm.
Tasting profile
Light yellow, with a persistent perlage. The aroma is fruity and intense, while the palate is dry.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 8–9°C and drink young. Suitable as an aperitif and with starters, light meals and fish dishes.
