Founding

Beneath the Majella and Gran Sasso mountains in Abruzzo, Riccardo Tiberio discovered a hillside plot near the small town of Cugnoli, at an altitude of 350 meters and 23 miles from the coast and the seaside city of Pescara. The plot was planted with Trebbiano vines around 50 years old. The vineyard impressed him so much that he decided to change the course of his life and his family's future, leading him to establish Azienda Agricola Tiberio.

Second Generation

More than ten years ago, Riccardo's children, Cristiana and Antonio, took over the Tiberio winery. Cristiana, a chemistry specialist who teaches sommelier studies and enology at a college, makes the wines and serves as Tiberio's brand ambassador. Antonio is responsible for growing the grapes and managing the vineyards.
