Vineyard and terroir

The Albana comes from Podere Ca’Grande, where the vineyards face south and south-east. The clayey soils carry vines averaging 15 years of age, with a yield of 80 quintals per hectare (8 tonnes per hectare).

Grapes

100% Albana di Romagna. The published release is the 2025 vintage.

Vinification

Fermentation takes place at a controlled 16°C in cocciopesto amphorae and concrete tanks.

Ageing

The wine remains for three months in cocciopesto amphorae and concrete tanks.

Technical data

Romagna Albana DOCG. Alcohol is 13% vol. Available in a 0.750-litre bottle.

Tasting profile

Deep straw yellow with golden nuances. Yellow fruit, apricot, peach and citrus peel are joined by broom and peach blossom. The palate is dry, firm and full-bodied, with good savouriness and a lively finish shaped by a light tannic contribution.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 8–10°C. Suitable for pasta, including filled pasta, fish dishes, white meats and salads. It can also be served cool as an aperitif and paired with sushi or international cuisine.
