Vintage notes

After a rainy autumn, mild weather at the beginning of 2024 caused budbreak to occur slightly ahead of the average schedule. Mild spring conditions encouraged rapid growth until cooler weather at the end of April slowed development. Frequent rain in May and June replenished water reserves. A marked rise in temperature from the second week of July began a hot, dry period, accelerating cluster development and the onset of veraison. Ripening continued slowly and evenly through August, and the grapes reached harvest healthy and balanced.

The 2022 season began with a cold winter that delayed flowering slightly. Above-average spring temperatures subsequently restored the normal vegetative timetable. Summer was hot and dry, while rain at the end of August supported optimal ripening.
