The grapes grow in the hills of eastern Friuli, in clay soils layered with Eocene marl and sandstone.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, followed by cryomaceration and fermentation at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine rests briefly on fine lees in stainless-steel tanks.
Serving and pairing
Pair with spaghetti and clams, risotto, fish or chicken.
