About this wine
Origin: periodically replanted estate vineyards in Bussia, Monforte d’Alba.
Grapes: Nebbiolo, Michet and Lampia biotypes.
Vineyard: vines are no more than approximately 15 years old.
Harvest: manual, with selection in the vineyard, in mid-October.
Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in stainless-steel vats at 24–26°C, with 6–8 days of skin contact.
Aging: several months in stainless steel with repeated rackings, followed by several months in oak.
