Profile
Riserva is produced only in the best years and in limited quantities, after six years in cellar. It is garnet red, with humus, ripe-fruit notes and an intense, broad, complex, ethereal bouquet. The palate is austere, powerful and deep, with remarkable structure and breadth. Traditional fermentation. Minimum 2 years in oak barrels and minimum 6 months in bottle. Alcohol 13.00-14.50%. Ageing capability 20-30 years. First production year 1975. Serving temperature 18-20°C. Pairings include red and roasted meats, noble game and aged cheese.
