History
Castello di Ama developed around the historic village of Ama in Chianti Classico and integrates wine production with a contemporary-art collection.
Terroir
The 75 ha of vineyards surround the village at 420–527 m across four valleys. Soils are limestone and clay.
Winemaking
Vineyards are managed parcel by parcel; documented wines are harvested by hand.
The estate vinifies individual vineyards and varieties separately and produces Chianti Classico, Toscana IGT reds, white wine and rosé.
