About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Sangiovese fruit comes from vineyards at the Santa Cristina estate.
Vinification
For the 2015 vintage, harvesting began in the final week of August. The grapes were gently pressed, after which the must was cooled to 10 °C. Fermentation began 48 hours later in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature not exceeding 15 °C.
Label / history
The name “Cipresseto” refers to the cypress trees found throughout the Tuscan hills.
