About this wine
First produced in 1978, made only in exceptional vintages and skipped in 1980, 1981, 1983, 1984 and 1992. Grapes are destemmed and selected before fermenting in 60 hL truncated cone tanks; the wine ages about 15 months in new French oak with malolactic fermentation completed in barrique. The 2022 vintage is intense ruby with bright purple hues, black currant, blueberry, plum and fig aromas with sweet violet notes, a creamy rich entry, freshness and energy, and silky mouth-filling tannins.
