Bertani was founded in 1888. Almost 30 years later, the Academy of Agriculture, Arts and Commerce in Verona examined the brothers’ work from scientific and practical perspectives and gave them a special gold award. The family estate now comprises 130 hectares around its historic eighteenth-century villa, while the cellars and winery are in Grezzano.
