Bertani was founded in 1888. Almost 30 years later, the Academy of Agriculture, Arts and Commerce in Verona conducted a scientific and practical study of the brothers’ work and presented them with a special gold award. The family estate now covers 130 hectares around its historic eighteenth-century villa, while the cellars and winery are in Grezzano.
