About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the Cerretella estate in the commune of Castagneto Carducci, within the Bolgheri DOC production area on the Tuscan coast. Cerretella covers 4.4 hectares.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. Each variety is vinified separately, with temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine is aged in barriques for 6 months.
Label / history
Cerretella is the most recent addition to the family-owned Cantine Bonacchi, acquired in December 2022.
