Made from Sangiovese Grosso.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are fermented in special vats.
Ageing
The wine matures for at least two years in Slovenian and French oak barrels, followed by at least six months in bottle. Extended contact with the wood softens the wine and contributes a delicate spicy character.

Soft, with a delicate spicy character.
Serving and pairing
Decant before serving, or open the bottle in advance and allow the wine to breathe. Pair with rich, structured meat dishes and aged cheeses.
