About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Sangiovese comes from the company's vineyards in the Chianti Classico region.

Vinification

After harvest the grapes macerate for 8 days in steel vats. Fermentation follows for 9 days in special tanks under carefully controlled temperatures.

Ageing

The wine ages for one year in large French oak barrels.

Tasting profile

Elegant, with a pure expression of Tuscan Sangiovese. The nose is of cherry and violet. The palate is fresh and layered. Contact with the oak adds subtle notes of vanilla, tobacco and coffee.
