About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from a limited harvest taken from the company's best vineyard sites.
Vinification
The wine macerates on the skins for 8 days. Malolactic fermentation follows, lasting 9 days, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine ages for 20 months in oak barrels, then rests at least 4 more months in bottle.
Tasting profile
A classic aged Chianti with distinctive cherry notes on both nose and palate.
