About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The wine comes from the historic Valpolicella Classico area, between the foothills of the Alps and the Adige River. The mountains provide shelter, and nearby Lake Garda moderates the climate, so that Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella ripen evenly. The soils are rich in calcium and limestone, which shape the style of the wine.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and handled with great care. During fermentation the skins give the wine its full colour and aroma. Malolactic fermentation smooths the texture and adds complexity.
Ageing
The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks. After bottling it rests in the cellar for several months, allowing the flavours to come together in a balanced whole.
Tasting profile
Elegant and dry, with a delicate, fruit-led aroma. The palate has natural elegance and depth of flavour, with a smooth texture and balanced structure.
