About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in Lugana at 152 m above sea level. The vineyard's soils are clay and chalk of moraine origin, and the vines average 10 years of age.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September, then destemmed and pressed at the winery. Fermentation lasts approximately 15 days at a controlled temperature of 16 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures in steel tanks for five months, followed by two months in bottle.
