About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo comes from the estate's best sites, selected by the winemakers. The vines were planted in 2001 on west-facing sites with bluish clay-limestone marl soils. Grapes are picked by hand.
Vinification
Harvest traditionally takes place in early October. After a short maceration, the wine ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation takes place in oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months in large Slavonian oak casks. It is ready to drink one and a half years after harvest and can continue to develop for up to 10 years. Bottles should be stored in a dark cellar at a constant temperature.
Tasting profile
Elegant, approachable and beautifully balanced, with character and individuality. It is very food-friendly.
