About this wine
Grapes: more than 90% Sangiovese.
Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with 15–18 days of skin maceration at controlled temperature in stainless-steel tanks, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
Aging: approximately 3–6 months in 20–32 hl oak casks, followed by a short period in bottle.
Release: 6–8 months after harvest.
Characteristics: ruby-red colour. Fresh and fruity aromas. Medium-bodied and lightly tannic on the palate.
Food pairings: starters, pasta with meat ragù or mushrooms, roasted white meats, cured meats and fresh cheeses.
Bottle format: 0.75 L.
