About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Barbera grapes are grown organically in the estate’s vineyards in Monferrato, northwestern Italy.

Vinification

Roberto Salvaneschi harvests the grapes entirely by hand at optimal ripeness. Fermentation begins spontaneously with native yeasts and proceeds without temperature control.

Ageing

The wine matures for 18 months in barriques, followed by 12 months in bottle.

Tasting profile

It retains balanced acidity even in warm years.

Serving and pairing

A natural match for tomato-based dishes.
