About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo comes from three southern plots: Michet, Lampia and Rose.
Vinification
Made in a Burgundian style, the wine undergoes spontaneous alcoholic fermentation, followed by traditional malolactic fermentation in cement tanks.
Ageing
It matures in large oak and chestnut casks for 30–36 months, followed by a further 24 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
The bouquet combines brandied cherries and flowers. The palate is full, very smooth and refined, becoming rounded during maturation and developing subtle woody notes.
