Vineyard and terroir
Fassini is a small estate in the hilly wine-growing area of Montalcino in Tuscany, surrounded by old cypress trees.
Grapes
Mainly Montepulciano, with a small amount of Sangiovese.
Vinification
The estate combines traditional winemaking methods with modern developments.
Ageing
Aged for at least 1.5 years: half of that time in barrels and half in bottle.
Tasting profile
Elegant and dry. The nose shows wild strawberries, blueberries, cherries and spices. The palate is dry and well balanced.

Fassini is now part of the Castellani group.
