History
Castiglion del Bosco is one of the historic producers of Brunello di Montalcino and was among the founders of the Brunello consortium.
Terroir
The estate lies in the Val d’Orcia. Capanna vineyard is in north-west Montalcino and contains clay shale and marl.
Winemaking
The Montalcino estate grows Sangiovese; individual sites are used for Brunello, cru Brunello and Rosso.
The range includes three Brunello interpretations, Rosso di Montalcino and wines from Tenuta Prima Pietra.
