About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Dolcetto comes from estate-owned vineyards planted on soils associated with the older Helvetian formations. Pale grey to pink calcareous clay alternates with siliceous sandstone and deposits containing calcium carbonate and iron.

Grapes

Dolcetto.

Vinification

Vinification takes place in the estate cellars, using automatic temperature control and punch-downs.

Ageing

The wine is handled exclusively in stainless steel, preserving its fresh, elegant and fruit-driven character.

Tasting profile

Intense ruby red with purple reflections. Persistent floral and fruit aromas evoke sweet violet and small red berries; the more detailed profile also identifies Marasca cherry and wild strawberry. The palate is dry, full and fresh, with restrained tannins and a measured, elegant structure. Its immediacy and moderate weight give it the character of an approachable everyday wine.

Serving and pairing

Pair with soups, boiled meat dishes, appetizers, cheeses and desserts.
