About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Sangiovese vineyards lie at 300 m above sea level. Yield is 80 quintals per hectare, equivalent to 8 tonnes per hectare.

100% Sangiovese.

Vinification

The wine undergoes traditional alcoholic fermentation using methods passed down through generations. The stated vinification period is 15–20 days. Skin maceration is avoided, moderating the aggressiveness of the tannins and allowing the wine to become soft and rounded after only a few months.

Ageing

The wine is stored in stainless-steel tanks, followed by two months of bottle ageing.
