About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyard lies at 300 m above sea level and yields 70 quintals per hectare. The grapes are rigorously selected and harvested by hand.

100% Sangiovese.
Vinification
Fermentation lasts 30 days.
Ageing
The wine matures for 36 months in 40 hL French and Slavonian oak casks, followed by at least 6 months in bottle.
Technical data
Alcohol varies according to the vintage. Annual production is approximately 20,000 bottles, offered in a 0.75 L format.
Tasting profile
Ruby red with garnet reflections. Red fruits, woodland undergrowth and spices mingle with nuances of tobacco. The wine is structured, elegant and persistent.
