About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the estate's own vineyards in the Colli Orientali del Friuli. The soils are rich in mineral deposits, limestone and calcium.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, carefully sorted and gently pressed at the winery. The must is cooled and left to settle, then fermented at a controlled 17 °C with selected yeasts chosen to develop the wine's characteristic aromas. The whole winemaking process takes place in stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine stays on the lees until February in stainless steel, with no contact with wood. It is then filtered and bottled in spring.
Tasting profile
Rounded in character, with an elegant smoothness.
Serving and pairing
An aperitif wine. It pairs with appetizers, molluscs, lobster, shrimp, and delicate creamy soups and broths.
Vintage notes
Bronze medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards for the 2006, 2012 and 2015 vintages.
