About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in Colutta’s vineyards in Colli Orientali Friuli, where the soils are rich in mineral deposits, limestone and calcium.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, carefully sorted and gently pressed at the winery. The must is cooled and allowed to settle before fermentation at a controlled temperature of 28 °C. Délestage extracts colour, polyphenols, tannins and anthocyanins from the skins.
Ageing
Part of the wine ages in wooden barriques and barrels, while the remainder is kept in steel tanks.
