About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Ruvaln vineyard lies in a valley near Mezzane, an area historically associated with numerous fast-flowing streams and the settlements that formed around them. Its name means “stream”. The vineyard is certified organic.

Vinification

Corvina and Rondinella are harvested by hand in the first week of October and dried for three months. The raisined fruit is gently pressed, then fermented with natural yeasts in stainless-steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation follows.

Ageing

The wine matures in oak barrels for 24 months.

Tasting profile

Made in a modern style, it retains Amarone’s depth, richness and opulence.

Label / history

Adalia bipunctata, a small ladybird with two spots on its wings, is the symbol of the Adalia brand. A predator of grape aphids, it is regarded as beneficial to winegrowers. Each Adalia wine comes from a specific vineyard.
