About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from hillside vineyards in Roverè della Luna. Vines are trained partly on the simple Trentino pergola and partly by Guyot, on sandy-loam soils.

Grapes

100% Pinot Grigio. The variety has small, short, compact and winged bunches. Its slightly elliptical berries have grey-violet skins and juicy, sweet pulp.

Vinification

Fermentation with selected yeasts takes place at controlled temperature for approximately 12 days.

Ageing

Maturation follows in stainless steel.

Tasting profile

Deep, bright yellow. The fine and delicate fruit-led bouquet recalls ripe pear. Dry and savoury on the palate, with rounded texture, character, harmony and balanced structure.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 10–12°C and open at the time of service. A versatile match for pasta or dry soups with substantial sauces, tripe, egg dishes, grilled trout, plum gnocchi, boiled meats and poultry. It can also accompany Chinese and Thai cooking. Best enjoyed young, within approximately two years of harvest.
