About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the municipalities of San Michele all'Adige and Faedo, on chalky dolomitic soils. The local microclimate has a noticeable difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures, which helps the grapes develop particularly expressive aromas.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted. The wine ferments on the skins for 6–8 days in Ganimede fermenters and undergoes malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine is aged briefly in large oak casks, to preserve the intense fruit character typical of Lagrein.
Tasting profile
Rich and elegant, with expressive aromas and an intense fruit character.
