About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the Montefante vineyard.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in late September and dried under careful supervision in dedicated barns for 100 days. At the end of December, they are destemmed and pressed. The must undergoes spontaneous cold maceration for 10 days before yeast is added, followed by one month of fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for 24 months in barriques and Slovenian oak casks.
