About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from vineyards in the commune of Taurasi, at 1,000–1,650 metres above sea level. The vines are 10–20 years old and planted at a density of 5,000 vines per hectare in moderately deep soils containing traces of ash.
Grapes
Made entirely from Aglianico.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in the second half of October and sorted by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at 16–18 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests in steel tanks for four months.
Tasting profile
Fresh and juicy, with flavours of freshly picked red berries.
