About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The production area encompasses Calosso d'Asti, Santo Stefano Belbo, Treiso, Serralunga d'Alba and Alba. The vines occupy suitable mid-hillside sites on clay-rich marl and are Guyot trained at 4,500 vines per hectare.
Grapes
100% Moscato Bianco.
Vinification
Harvest takes place during the first ten days of September. Whole grapes undergo gentle pressing, after which the must is clarified and filtered. Low-temperature fermentation takes place in pressure tanks according to the Charmat method.
Ageing
Designed for youthful consumption, the wine is ready to drink only a few days after bottling and is best enjoyed while its freshness is at its peak.
Technical data
Alcohol: 7% vol. Available formats: 0.375 L, 0.75 L, 1.5 L and 3 L.
Tasting profile
Straw yellow in colour, with a fragrant, characteristically aromatic profile. Sweet scents evoke musk, linden, acacia, hawthorn and orange blossom, together with sage and honey. The palate is pleasantly sweet yet balanced, recalling freshly harvested grapes, and the flavour persists through the finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 7–10 °C. It can be enjoyed outside meals and pairs particularly well with refined, delicately flavoured desserts and fresh fruit.
