About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on sandy soils in the Gavi region, at 200–350 metres above sea level.
Vinification
Harvest usually begins in the second half of September. After gentle pressing, the must is separated from the skins, cooled and settled. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures in steel tanks for 4–5 months, then develops further in bottle until spring.
