About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from old vines in the commune of Alba, planted at a density of 4,500 vines per hectare. Excellent exposure encourages early ripening.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested during the first ten days of September. Whole grapes are gently pressed, after which the juice is clarified, filtered and fermented at low temperature in an autoclave.
Ageing
The wine is aged only briefly and is ready to drink a few weeks after bottling.
Tasting profile
Sweet, aromatic, cheerful and warming.
Serving and pairing
Best enjoyed young, within 2–3 years of bottling.
