About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the Tenuta Perano estate vineyards in the hills of Gaiole, at an altitude of 500 m.
Grapes
Sangiovese is blended with a small proportion of Merlot.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and traditionally vinified in barriques and stainless-steel tanks under strict temperature control.
Ageing
The wine matures for 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
