About this wine
Grapes
Cannonau forms the main part of the wine, with a small proportion of other native red varieties.

The grapes come from the highest part of the Gabbas estate, where a cool local wind known as the “avra” blows.
Vinification
The must ferments in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine ages in oak barriques.
Label / history
The name “Avra” refers to the cool local wind that blows through the vineyard site. Annual production is limited to 2,000 bottles.
