About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo fruit came from the Gramolere vineyard in Monforte d'Alba, where the soils are fertile and rich in limestone.
Vinification
The grapes were harvested during the first half of October. The must fermented for 30–40 days at 28–31 °C.
Ageing
The wine matured for 30 months in large 500 L casks and was bottled 40 months after the harvest.
Tasting profile
Powerful and deep in character, with complex flavours and aromas.
